These 22 focused classes accompany the summer FORREST YOGA TEACHER TRAINING COURSE (you do not have to be a trainee to attend) and will take you on a physical and mental journey deep into the core of your very being. Each class is designed and sequenced to build on previous classes to help students make the most progress in a brief amount of time. Take your yoga practice beyond the mat and try one of the most vigorous and demanding yoga practices around. Through a carefully constructed and rigorous series of yoga asanas, Forrest Yoga will open you up to the amazing quality of feeling that lives inside each of us. These intensives, designed by Ana Forrest, will take you on a physical and mental journey deep into the core of your very being. You will create a heightened sense of physical and spiritual awareness while challenging every muscle and cell in your body.
Note: Participants can sign up for the full 22-day series, 11 days or 5 day. Due to the intense nature of this program, all participants must take their first class July 3,4 or 5th. No participant (no matter what level of yoga practitioner or experience) can begin after July 6th. This is to protect the integrity of the course for and for the safety of all. This restriction applies to all participants EXCEPT previous Forrest Yoga Foundation graduates.

Forrest Yoga helps you connect to your core – getting strong and centered. It uses heat, deep breathing and vigorous sequences to sweat out toxins. The long holds in the pose progressions help you flush, oxygenate and rejuvenate every cell.
As a beginner to Forrest Yoga, you learn to breathe deeply and connect in feeling with your body. As you progress, you get proficient at safely tailoring each pose to work best for you; particularly with physical and emotional injuries. Learning to work honestly at your edges, you develop effective tools to deal with fear and struggle. This makes it possible for integrity, self awareness and playful curiosity to become part of your daily life.
Forrest Yoga does not require strength or flexibility; it only requires that you bring a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly. As you advance in Forrest Yoga, step by step, you learn to intelligently ride your breath into the exhilarating advanced poses. In addition, you learn to exercise your emotional body through the full spectrum of feeling.
