Each day starts off with a ceremony involving chanting, drumming and meditation to set the intent for the day and create the space for healing and connection to your Spirit. Free your mind from its attachment to habitual patterns of thinking and action.
Forrest Intensives
The 2-hour intensive that will create a heightened sense of physical, emotional and spiritual awareness while challenging every muscle and cell in your body. Through a carefully sequenced Forrest Yoga asanas, Ana will open you to amazing depths and feelings of awareness. You will leave feeling cleansed, refreshed and alive. The intensives are a sanctuary where you can feel safe to open up, work through issues that may arise and go beyond your perceived limitations. You will learn about yourself and feel what it is like to have freedom in your own body and mind. The intensives are sure to bring each trainee to new levels within their yoga practice. Injuries and special needs are addressed so that each trainee experiences these classes as part of his or her own healing practice. Continuing Education for Teachers

The course is designed for instructors who seek to improve both their teaching and personal practice. It is ideal for those who are ready to move deeper within themselves, to increase the mental acuity needed to explore the rich tapestry of Forrest Yoga. The objective of the FYCET is to make you a more skilled, intelligent and authentic teacher. Awareness is a vital component when developing the skills necessary to teach from your own found truths. Through meditation, intense daily yoga practice and group instruction, trainees begin to discover the voice of their own Spirit, which leads to a truly authentic life path.

You'll learn to fly, hold and balance in challenging yoga poses longer, gain better kinesthetic awareness and build cardiovascular and muscular strength In a safe and supportive environment. This workshop is designed to give you a secure and detailed understanding of AntiGravity Yoga fundamentals while having a ton of fun!

Raffa Yoga proudly announces its’ second Yoga Alliance recognized Yoga Teacher Training. Become a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered (RYT 200) and recognized instructor in just 6 months.
Facilitated by Christine Raffa & Jane Viscolosi, the two have worked together for over 8 years teaching classes and leading workshops teaching the methods of Baptiste, Forrest, Hatha, Vinyasa, Adaptive and Therapeutic yoga. Christine & Jane are committed and dedicated to your experience and are excited to be offering this teacher training. This training is for; anyone interested in teaching yoga classes, those interested in deepening their yoga journey and current yoga teachers interested in honing teaching skills.
This teacher training program will include and is not limited to:
· Teaching techniques including demonstrating, sequencing, and assisting
· Correct alignment and action for traditional Hatha postures
· How to work with injuries and ailments
· Meditation and room-centering techniques
· Pranayama or breath work
· Om-ing and Chanting
· Introductory Anatomy in relation to yoga
· Yogic Philosophy and Lifestyle
· A yoga 'game plan': intro to business of yoga
· How to bring greater joy to your own life and those of everyone else around you!

So, as we listen, we create. We create communities of compassion to protect around and sometimes against suffering. We look to that timeless map that has never been outdated by years. We believe that by tracing that map today over the terrain of wars against love not directly experienced by us, we will expand our ethnic-of-connectedness to those caught in the vortex of wars against love. When we pause, however, we realize (but perhaps are not yet ready to admit) we too are whirling. We might then decorate our pain with silence. We might then decorate our language with silence because we are, after all, yogini.
