Raffa Yoga proudly announces its’ first ever Yoga Alliance recognized Yoga Teacher Training. Become a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered (RYT 200) and recognized instructor in just 6 months.
Facilitated by Christine Raffa & Jane Viscolosi, the two have worked together for over 8 years teaching classes and leading workshops teaching the methods of Baptiste, Forrest, Hatha, Vinyasa, Adaptive and Therapeutic yoga. Christine & Jane are committed and dedicated to your experience and are excited to be offering this teacher training. This training is for; anyone interested in teaching yoga classes, those interested in deepening their yoga journey and current yoga teachers interested in honing teaching skills.
This teacher training program will include and is not limited to:
· Teaching techniques including demonstrating, sequencing, and assisting
· Correct alignment and action for traditional Hatha postures
· How to work with injuries and ailments
· Meditation and room-centering techniques
· Pranayama or breath work
· Om-ing and Chanting
· Introductory Anatomy in relation to yoga
· Yogic Philosophy and Lifestyle
· A yoga 'game plan': intro to business of yoga
· How to bring greater joy to your own life and those of everyone else around you!

ANTIGRAVITY YOGA Come and further explore the upside down fun of AntiGravity® Yoga! With an intelligent sequence of movements to help you learn to balance in motion and move with greater precision and grace, this workshop will introduce you to more intermediate inversions as well as some basic aerial flips and tricks. Improve your balance, co-ordination as kinesthetic awareness as well as build stability for more advanced asana practice.
VINYASA POWER YOGA Moving into a heated yoga room we will continue a athletic vinyasa flow. This dynamic practice will be strengthening, detoxifying and deeply re-energizing to all systems of the body. We will then slowly make our way down to our mats for some relaxing stretches and a restorative savasana.
This class combination is appropriate for those wishing to concentrate on strengthening, core & conditioning exercises. You should be ready to sweat during this class!
Combined Antigravity Yoga and Vinyasa Power Yoga will be a powerful practice for anyone wishing to challenge the body and free the mind!
