Please consult your medical professional before beginning any new exercise form to see if it is appropriate for you.
Our staff has expert training in their appropriate disciplines and can make recommendations for you to reach health goals, but we are not physicians. All concerns on health related issues, medications and appropriateness of exercise should be thoroughly discussed before partaking in Raffa Yoga, AntiGravity Yoga and all suspension-training classes with your personal health care provider.
- When starting any new exercise program, always consult the appropriate health care professional for guidelines regarding your personal health.
- Practice on an empty stomach, preferably 2-3 hours after your last meal.
- Please Inform the teacher if you have any injuries, illnesses or are pregnant. This is very helpful and important. Keep in mind that yoga practice should always be done under the supervision of a physician if there are health-related circumstances.
- Stay hydrated. Drink water as way to facilitate your practice in keeping your muscles supple and eliminating toxins.
- Do not come to a yoga class if you have used or taken alcoholic beverages, drugs, or medications of any kind (ex. prescription or over-the-counter medications, holistic preparations or illegal drugs) that may affect your judgement or impair your abilities.
